Backups and Restoration
Last updated: 11 July 2026
This page describes how DigiSoov OÜ backs up customer data, how long copies are kept and on what terms restoration is carried out. This page is the current price list referred to in our Terms of Service.
How backups are made
- Frequency: backups are created daily, at night.
- What is backed up: website files, MySQL databases and e-mail accounts.
- Retention: 30 days (1 month). Copies older than 30 days are deleted automatically.
- Where it is stored: copies are held on a separate backup node, apart from the production servers. Data is stored within the EU.
- Verification: archive integrity is checked automatically; if a backup fails, older copies are not deleted.
The 30-day retention applies to all plans — Mini, Midi and Maxi — at no extra charge.
Restoring from a backup
Restoration is carried out at the customer's request and is a paid service. Send your request to support@digisoov.ee, stating:
- the domain or account name;
- the date whose state you want restored;
- your chosen restoration method (see below).
Restoration methods
- Restore over the current data. Files and the database are returned to their state on the chosen date. Note: any data added after that date (orders, posts, database changes) will be lost.
- Restore into a separate folder and separate database. Your current site keeps running and the copy is deployed alongside it, so you can move across what you need. An empty database must be created in advance.
Price list
| Service | Price (excl. VAT) |
|---|---|
| Restoring a website (files + database) | €25 per site |
| Restoring into a separate folder / database | €25 per site |
| Restoring an e-mail account | €25 per account |
| Restoration outside business hours, at weekends and on public holidays | double rate — €50 |
VAT is added at the applicable rate. Work is carried out during business hours; the turnaround time depends on the volume of data and is agreed when the request is accepted.
Liability
Backups made by DigiSoov are an additional safeguard, not a replacement for the customer's own copies. The customer is obliged to keep their own copies of their materials. DigiSoov is not liable for individual backup failures and does not guarantee the completeness of restoration in every case. See the “Backups” section of our Terms of Service for details.
